See full history Site investigation Approved document C, Site preparation and resistance to contaminants and moisturesuggests that the extent and level of site investigations needs to be tailored to the type of development and the previous use of land. The approved document suggests that site investigations should consist of four well-defined stages: Setting clear objectives for the site investigation, including scope and requirements, which enable it to be planned and carried out efficiently and provide the required information.
We currently have no scheduled session for this Maintenance Management Training Course. If you are interested in running this course, please contact our Training Department at info petroknowledge. This training course provides the concepts for soil mechanics and the soil investigation tests on site as well as the borehole, standard penetration and cone penetration tests.
The tests will be illustrated through videos and technical practice for the solution of the soil with problems. The training course will then explore how the data obtained from the geotechnical investigation can be evaluated and defined. The design of the offshore structure pile and the soil structure interaction will be defined in detail.
The construction of offshore structure and specifically the pile will be discussed with the main problems. The derivability analysis will be covered during the training course and also the design of the mudmat.
The pile capacity for aging structure will be addressed in the training course and also the scour problem and new ways to overcome it.
The effects of the settlement on the facilities will be discussed during the course. This training course will feature: Soil investigation for offshore structure The soil structure interaction for offshore platform The deliverability analysis for pile foundation Offshore pile capacity calculation Mudmat design and stability calculation Training Objectives click here What are the Goals?
The training course will cover the techniques of soil test and geotechnical investigation in general, with specific focus on geotechnical investigation of offshore structures. It will also assist participants in defining scope of work for geotechnical study.
The methods of laboratory and site tests will be presented during the course theoretically and through videos. Target Audience Who is this Training Course for?
